Dominion: We are closing Salem plant


Salem Harbor Station will close in 2014, plant owner Dominion announced.

Two of the small coal-burning units will be shut down by the end of the year, while two larger coal- and oil-burning generators will stay in operation until June 1, 2014, the company said.
